How to get in.

The basics, every venue

• Bring a valid government ID. Every venue we play asks. No ID, no entry — no exceptions.
• Bring cash for the door tip jar. It's how the bar/door staff makes a living. $5 is fair.
• Wear shoes you can stand in for hours. A jacket if the room runs cold.
• Earplugs at the door for free when we have them. We recommend bringing your own.
• Water on every floor when we're hosting — ask the bar.

Doors and timing

Confirm exact door time + age policy on the event page before you head out.

Getting there + getting home

• Lyft / Uber works for every venue. PB and Hillcrest pickup zones get crowded after 1am — give it five minutes.
• Parking varies by venue. Street parking in PB is tight after 8pm; lots in Hillcrest fill by 11pm.
• Have a way home before you go in. The buses don't run late enough for after-hours.

Looking out for each other

The scene is small. Most of the same faces show up across our nights. Check on your friends. If you see someone struggling, find security or a bar staff member — they'll handle it.

If you came alone and need a ride out, ask. Someone here is going your direction.

Etiquette

• Phones down on the dance floor. Stories before / after the set, not during.
• If you're talking, step back from the speakers. Other people came to listen.
• Tip the DJ if a track moves you. Tip the bar always.
• If someone's having a moment, give them space. We'll all have one eventually.
